The changes brought to MITRE INFORM, formerly M3TID, are to reflect the feedback received from the community. Keep making your voice heard!

This was also an opportunity to align ourselves with the three capability maturity models - SOC, CTI, & Red Team - as well as the Continuous Threat Exposure Management framework.

Updates: - Components and Levels have been expanded and reworked. This is to allow us to include all measures we think are necessary to properly assess TID Maturity. - Each component has been mapped to their respective capability maturity model. - The results page of the assessment now includes a Complexity/Impact Matrix to help determine what levels and components should be achieved next.

Measuring, Maximizing, and Maturing Threat Informed Defense (M3TID) 1.0

The initial release of M3TID describes the nature of threat-informed defense, including its dimensions, components, and maturity Levels. It also provides a scoring methodology and a spreadsheet for scoring your own organization.
